J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Udacity en févr. 2025
Entretien
Interview with the hiring manager, which was a nice conversation with some light technical questions around React, Next.js. This was supposed to be followed by leet code style coding session, which was supposed to be followed by a React live coding interview. However, the interviewer chose to _not_ do the leet code style interview and go straight to React, which was a bit of a surprise and threw me off guard. The react challenge was loading some data and displaying it, along with implementing some user interaction that required react.

Question 1
What platform would you use to host a mostly static site with some dynamic content?
I applied online and they contact me a few days later. The process moved fast and the recruiter was really nice! However, I had a bad experience for the interview (video call): they only talked and asked things about design (it was for a developer & design job) and never asked me any technical questions as I was expecting.... and the worst is that they didn't think I was a good fit because I was more interested in design (and I wasn't, they just didn't ask anything). It seems disorganized and I'm not sure they knew what kind of person they really were looking for.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Udacity (Mountain View, CA) en juin 2016
Entretien
The process took 4 weeks (because I wasn't able to go on-site, I am in France!) and it was only remote interviews.
It was very well-organized, the recruiter coordinator was very kind. The whole process was very smooth.
This is a interview that you can expect (tech screening, 4 interviews in a row, etc...)
