The overall process was very smooth and I never felt like I was in the dark in regards to what was happening. Initially, were two phone interviews which were engaging and would not be difficult for a well-prepared candidate. The interviewers were looking for related experience, a strong culture fit, and interest in the company. The more experience using the Udemy product, the better off you will be. No surprise there.
After the phone interviews, I was invited for an on-site two weeks later. The on-site was comparable to other medium and large sized tech companies in regards to the structure and amount of interviews. Be prepared to whiteboard. Additionally, be prepared to solve open-ended problems which extend beyond the scope you will find in something like CTCI. There were no brain teasers or curve-ball questions. I could not find anything I disliked about the on-site and wish other companies had a similar hiring process.
