Interview was very simple and straight forward, asking about my previous retail experience and describing what kinds of tasks I would be responsible for and what kind of hours they were looking to fill. I was offered a position with the expectation that I would start as soon as possible. I accepted the offer, but was never contacted again afterwards, and my calls were never returned.

It was a group interview and it took like an hour since it was around 8-10 people but very few questions were asked. I got an offer later that day and started working pretty soon.

"Tell me about yourself", your work experience, why Ulta and a scenario question
They briefly go over your resume and ask for your availability. They're usually looking for employees with full to almost full availability around the holiday season. Overall, it wasn't too difficult. Maybe mention your interests in cosmetics.

There were 5 of us in a room & they did like a "round robin" interview. Asking a question & then wanting everyone to respond. I was not impressed. What ever happened to a one on one interview?
