This interview process was pretty average, but I feel like I invested a lot of time with no closure or explanation.
I invested about 7 hours in the process.
Including initial phone screening, first in person interview that was an hour and a half, took online test that was an hour long, and finally an over hour in person interview (one hour away from my house at the main office). Before my final interview I was told on the phone that my background check came back and she wouldn't be surprised if I was offered the job at the interview. I was told by several people they wanted to move quickly. That was not the case. After all the time I put in communicating with this company (and basically being told I have the job), I never heard from them again after the final interview. They were all very nice people and I felt like the interviews went well. So I was just left confused. I am not bitter. I absolutely understand things happen. I would have just appreciated a phone call letting me know their decision and possibly why.
