2 Rounds - Round 1 Hiring Manager - round 2 VP of Ops - Offer The interview with the hiring manager was positive and relaxed, focused mostly on getting to know each other. It went very well. During the conversation, I was told that although the role included some People Operations related tasks, they were specifically looking for someone without prior People Operations experience in order to bring a fresh perspective and strong analytical skills. The second-round interview was also a pleasant experience. However, I was ultimately rejected because the selected candidate had People Operations experience. This left me with the impression that the internal expectations for the role were not fully aligned throughout the process.
