Question 1
The interview questions were very simple, none of them were technical based, the hardest one was probably the usual "name a time when you had a teamate who was hard to work with"
Quick and simple, with an HR representative. Asked "tell me about yourself", why Valero, and a few other questions. Then explained what interning at the company would look like for the rest of the interview time.
Initial phone screening: A preliminary assessment of the candidate
Formal interviews: One or more in-person, phone, video conference, or group interviews
Skills assessments: Evaluations of the candidate's skills
Final evaluations: The employer makes a hiring decision
Background checks: A check of the candidate's background or credit
J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Valero en oct. 2024
Entretien
This interview was very relaxed. It was a followup on a job fair with questions about me and my university program, as well as my skillsets. I unfortunately did not get the position, but it was good practice and helped me shore up my interviewing weaknesses and preparedness for the next one.
