Very informal. First a phone call. Then possibly a sit down. There are some knowledge based questions, but they do read your resume and assume a certain level of ability. They just want to know how versed and confident you are.

They obviously only want ex-military guys. They made that very clear to me. Don’t waste your time applying if you want to streamline/modernize anything. Better off in the public sector.
