After clearing the resume screening round I received an email marketing assignment where I had to write a promotional email talking about Value Research or any of its products. After clearing that round I got another assignment with three writing tasks - blog, social media post, and ad copy.
It was quite a comprehensive assignment and required a lot of work.
After submitting the second assignment, I stopped receiving any responses from the HR team. Even upon asking for feedback, I didn't receive any response.
In my opinion, if you're asking candidates to do all that work across multiple assignment stages and expecting great quality outputs as well, the least you can do is keep them informed about the process.
I asked for three details during this process: work setup (wfh/hybrid/in-office), working days, and budget for role. I received straight answers for the work setup and working days, for the budget, I was told "it depends on my experience and past compensation" which was like dodging the question.
