Interview process was pretty straightforward (5 rounds). You have to pass all the rounds on Google Hangouts. But the crazy thing is this company discriminates people. I learned during that my interview process during the second round. Everything went smooth, happy ending with the interviewer and no bad feedback. Whatever he asked, I answered all the questions correctly and the interview round lasted for about 50-55 mins. I think I only did not answer 2-3 questions because I did not know because we are going to a different company so we shouldn't know everything. Why do we apply for jobs? For growth which means whatever we don't know we want to learn that when we apply a job to master that part we did not learn in our current job. The crazy thing is in the company everyone is white due to the town the company is based in. I feel like it was a discrimination. I can proudly say one thing that there is nothing to proud about USA. This country talent is coming from immigrants. If all immigrants become one and leave this the worst USA, this country will be on the road. There is nothing here. It is just bad and racist people here. No education or literacy I see in people.
When I emailed for feedback, I did not receive any kind of feedback as well. The dude who interviewed me even say I will be receiving anytime on Friday as obviously it went good. But the thing is they only care about hiring Americans (white). There is no literacy rate in USA man!
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. VARtek takes the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and on boarding new employees seriously. We absolutely wish you the best in your career.

The interview started horribly, it was virtual. I had been burning a scented candle to eliminate the smell from shampooing our carpets. I blew it out as the meeting started and a bit of smoke drifted past me. Immediately the PRESIDENT of the company said “I don’t think this is going to work!” Before even introducing them self. I was accused of smoking and told I wouldn’t pass the nicotine test because they are a smoke free company. I picked up the candle and showed it, as it was still smoldering, I was told “well…I guess we can keep talking” I knew from then it wasn’t going to be good. As they started asking me generic questions and the whole thing lasted 13 minutes and I got an abrupt end and then the meeting disconnected. Highly unprofessional, I then remembered other positions I’ve had and had to perform work after Vartek had been there before and it was always cleaning up their mess and correcting their errors. Would not recommend.

I applied online and received a response within a week of applying. From here there was a series of 5 interviews. The process is too lengthy and can be a waste of time. One has to take an hour or more here and there for phone screens and interviews in 6 to 8 weeks. It does not look good to present employers. Companies much larger and more demanding have a couple interviews. I also found that they are slow in response to calls and emails and sometimes not at all.
I interviewd in Mid 2019 for a position within a district in Ohio.
