Long and frustrating interview process. Phone screen, followed by 1:1 'why veeva' job history review with hiring manager, followed by infamous "Candidate Exercise" presentation, followed by 1:1 with dept director. I spent probably 40 hours on the candidate exercise, received great feedback throughout the interview process, and was told to expect an offer. I followed up multiple times over the course of ~3 months, but was always given vague excuses for why my offer was delayed. I never did get a written offer and I ended up accepting another position elsewhere. Probably for the better as the lack of communication was a red flag for me.
