then comes the meat...the behavioral questions...they seem to want you to provide a LOT of detail on SPECIFIC examples, the situation, what you did, why you did what you did, and what happened...you get about 5-7 minutes for each question..
examples - have u ever had a customer who asked for one thing but u thought of some thing better? describe a time you uncovered a customers needs..describe a time u persuaded a resistant customer...when did u solve a complex problem in a short time? describe solving a customers unusual problem...tell of a time u involved others in making a decision..how do you beat your quota? how do u work if your tired? what did you do last time u had idle time on the job? how do u keep up with work when its crazy? tell of a time dealing with changing technology..how do u keep up with tech..how do use the internet,,what do u do if u dont know a technical answer to a customers question/ ...how do u build trust? tell of a time a customer asked u about a competitors product? what did u say? give an example of a time u caught a coworker doing some thing wrong...what did you do?
then finally on to the role play..."sell me a product or service youve sold before (or sell me on your favorite tech device)...be ready to overcome objections , such as price, etc...
then the manager reviews the notes and you ask any questions...and youre done...got the offer 3 days later.
