I applied online. I was contacted by a recruiter within a week or so. However, I missed the initial call and the recruiter didn't have voicemail so it took a few days to connect. It was a typical screening call and she told me they would be setting up an interview with the hiring manager. I was told the interview process would be an initial call with the hiring manager and the next round would be a panel technical interview. However when I met online with the hiring manager, she let me know that 2 other people would be joining. After brief introductions and a few questions about my background, I tried to get more details about the position. I was told that one of the other interviewers would provide that. The 2nd interviewer then proceeded with a 45 minute technical interview. I felt a little ambushed because this was not how I was told the interview would be conducted, otherwise I would have prepared differently. I wasn't able to learn anything about the position itself. I didn't feel like this was handled professionally at all.
