I was excited to interview with Verkada, given the company's rapid growth and innovative product line. Unfortunately, my experience with the interview process left me frustrated. While I appreciated speaking with a few team members who were professional and informative, the overall process lacked consistency and clear communication.
After completing multiple rounds and an assessment, I received minimal feedback, and follow-ups were either delayed or vague. It often felt like I was being kept warm with no clear direction. Eventually, the role was closed without much transparency, which was disheartening after investing time and energy into the process.
I still believe Verkada is building something impactful, but I hope they improve their candidate experience, especially for early-career professionals trying to break into tech. Clearer communication, timely updates, and constructive feedback would go a long way in creating a more respectful and efficient process.

Call with a recruiter, zoom call with a manager, zoom call with a director, and on site interview with multiple people. The ask normal sales questions, are very friendly and professional.

Entretien
The interview process was incredible. I got to meet a lot of different people on the team, and the visit at the HQ blew my mind. My tour guide showed me around the beautiful building; the things they give to their employees is something I’ve never seen before. Left with a gift bag, chocolates, and they gave me a catered free lunch. It was extremely intentional. I received my offer letter with a map of things to do around the building outside of work; and a gift card to DoorDash. Love what they’ve done for me so far.
