3 Stage interview, first with the operations manager which lasted about two hours, then with a team leader digging a little bit more into your CV. If they liked you then this was followed by a meeting with the managing director on a different day

Bizarre and offensive interview. Firstly the interview started with being told it was split into two stages. First half some form of exam and then the second a face to face chat. This test included a written email, a STRANGE general knowledge quiz and then it was concluded by a maths test? Then the second section of the interview, this is when it got really fun! Firstly he marked my test and sighed and laughed at my wrong answers (sorry I don't remember who won The Battle of Waterloo). Then the male who interviewed me, was basically sat slumped in his chair and swearing at me for about an hour. He then concluded by telling me I lacked personality and that I was boring. Then he concluded to say how whilst "everything I was saying was correct it was too formal". After doing research about the company and by also walking through the office to be interviewed I came to release the office is predominantly male dominated, and I think all that explains why. I honestly think he would have rather me turned up drunk, in a pair of shorts and started to swear back at him. If you are a graduate and hoping to go into recruitment please AVOID this company, there are so many better ones out there - this I have found since interviewing and being offered a position since!

It was a three-stage interview which was pretty relaxed and informal. First interview was with one of the managers and consisted of discussing my previous jobs and what I wanted going forward etc. The second stage consisted of a meeting with the MD. The third was observing a normal working day.

      Entretien

The interview process was broken down into 5 stages. The first was stage was an initial telephone screening whereby if successful they would invite you down for a face to face interview. The initial interview was with the operations manager, this was then followed by an interview with a Business Manager. The first two stages of the interview was standard procedures expected of any companies, however, what bewildered me was the next stage where I was given a general knowledge test. I was faced with questions which were totally irrelevant (some relating to x-factor). I found this very strange especially for a company who try to pride themselves as an "executive search" company. I managed to pass the test however I personally thought that it was totally useless and irrelevant and perhaps they should adopt a different approach when screening potential employees. Following the test, if they liked you then they would invite you back with a face to face with one of the managing directors.
