It became clear late in the process that the experience they were seeking didn't align with my background. Earlier screening or more targeted questions in earlier interviews could have avoided an unnecessary in-person interview.

Firs round interview was a 30 minute chat. Not bad at all. All behavioral except one scenario question (~5 minutes). Behavioral consisted of questions like strengths/weaknesses, what you learned by failing at something.
