Round 1: Screening / Aptitude & Technical Test
Purpose: To filter candidates based on fundamental skills.
Format:
Aptitude test (logical reasoning, quantitative ability, verbal ability).
Basic technical test (coding questions, MCQs on CS fundamentals, or domain knowledge).
Outcome: Shortlist of candidates who meet the baseline criteria.
Round 2: Technical Interview
Purpose: To evaluate problem-solving, technical depth, and practical skills.
Format:
Coding/Problem-Solving: Writing efficient programs, debugging, or solving algorithms.
Core Concepts: Data structures, OOPs, DBMS, OS, Networking, or domain-specific questions.
Project/Internship Discussion: Explaining previous work, decisions made, and tools used.
Outcome: Assessment of how strong the candidate is in applying knowledge to real scenarios.
