There will be 3 rounds, 1. Aptitude and core related MCQ - Basic aptitude questions - Strength of materials, Thermal engineering, metallurgy, mechanical properties and basic formulas. 2. Technical round - Strength of materials, Thermal engineering, metallurgy, Heat transfer, mechanical properties and basic formulas. - For example, explain stress strain curve, types of beams and their formulas, explain the principle of motor and generator, types of bearings, types of materials and their properties. - Basic knowledge of cad softwares like Solidworks and autocad is added advantage. 3. HR round - Basic questions about yourself and family background etc.
