Contacted by the pharmacy manager of the store that was hiring. Asked to come in for an initial interview. After maybe 4 days received call back confirming job and being told I needed to get drug tested. Test results were submitted to the store within 24 hours and started training about 3 days later.

Straightforward, started off with introductions. Focused on experience, comfortability with learning new skills, interest in healthcare and Walgreens as a company. It was important to show how and why you’re interested in healthcare.

Very easy and laid back interview process. Unfortunately, Walgreens doesn’t have a great retention rate so they hire who they can as long as you tell them you have an interest in working long term.

short and to the point, very amiable in the dialog. Got back to me fast in terms of emails and helped me feel at home. People were joyful. They offered me a job on the spot after the interview. I was pretty stunned.
