The interview process started with an initial call with the hiring manager (which was rescheduled 10 minutes into its original start time). Next I was given an excel task which was a good challenge. I was told that some things could have been done differently although any alternative would have been much more complex with more steps involved. The final call was with heads of the People department who were extremely friendly - great conversation with them. I later received a message from the hiring manager asking how the call went and never heard back after my response. I was quite disappointed as I was told there was only 1 other candidate in the running for the role. An update that I didn't get the job would have been appreciated (and also would have not resulted in a negative experience).
