Asks you to analyze skew-t soundings, give a throuough synoptic/mesoscale discussion, and handwrite/scan a writing example in cursive. Did not receive any feedback on exam 10 days later, and was informed they were moving forward with other applicants. This job has been posted for the better part of a year, indicating a highly selective screening process, potentially high turnover or talent farming with no intent to hire. Advertised salary of $43,000/yr is not commensurate to educational qualifications or job responsibilities.

The interview required a long overview and detailed weather forecast. Additionally, a couple of interview sessions were also required. This was done remotely over the phone and internet. I did not proceed far by personal choice.
