The interview process at WebpageFX is very extensive. Within an hour of applying for the position online, I was contacted to partake in a written interview. The questions were fairly typical questions, mostly about the role and how my experience pertains to the job description. About three days after that I was called to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview was very easy, basic questions about my background and experience. About two days following the phone interview, I was asked to come in to the office for a face-to-face interview. This interview was extremely extensive, lasting about two and a half hours. It included an office tour, about one hour of questions, and four short tests. The tests were spelling, grammar, logic, and a personality type survey. It was about a week after this interview that I was contacted to come in and give a presentation to a panel including, one person from the marketing department, on from public relations, and the two founders, Bill and Carey. The presentation was about a 9 month business plan for the PR Specialist role and was followed by questions from the panel. Carey was on her phone while I presented and seemed very uninterested in what I had to say, which was rude and discouraging. Everyone else present however, was very friendly and asked fairly typical questions about the role after the presentation. It wasn't until three weeks later that I heard back via email that they had chosen a different candidate for the position. It was a mostly positive experience, but very time consuming. A great place to work as a new grad, as that seems to be the only type they hire at WebpageFX.
