I applied for a Software Engineer position at Web MD Health Services through their website. I got an email from their recruiter within a week I believe.
First interview with recruiter, then hiring manager, followed by an on-site interview that was about half technical. The whole interview process took about a week. I got an offer the week after my interview.
What I learned during the on-site interview:
-The interview was too easy in my opinion (this was for a more junior position so this might make sense but I read another Glassdoor review which was about a senior position and it seems about the same)
-The interview was too long. Interviewers didn't have many questions. I ended up asking a ton of questions to fill gaps
-The people were friendly
-A developer has to be on-call during after-hours. (rotates each sprint)
-"the monolith" exists
-They seem to be pretty flexible about their tech stack when it comes to their new line of products (that's the impression I got at least)
Offer only lasts two days (extremely short). I asked for an extra day to match the expiration date of another offer I had but my request was denied in a way that I found to be a bit offensive. The recruiter accused me of holding out for the highest offer and didn't take into account the other qualities of the job.
This is one of the main reasons I declined the offer because:
-I take my career seriously. The way they handled this made me feel disrespected as a professional.
-Money is not the most important thing to me (I wouldn't have asked him to extend me an offer if money was my top priority since I had another offer with higher base salary and better benefits overall)
-Even if I was holding out for the highest offer, what difference would a single day make to them?
-Taking on a new job is a huge career/life decision (to me) so three days is not an unreasonable time frame (most companies give at least two weeks based on my experience)

Call with recruiter, speak with hiring manager, take home assessment, than 1.5 hour panel interview.
I declined to proceed with the interview process. They wanted me to come into the office 3 days a week, jump through multiple hoops to have a shot at working with them, OH and they also wanted me to take $20k USD pay cut.
