Webflow really lack a structured hiring process and it's clear when going through it. What they state on their careers page is not what is put into practice - With a total of 7 stages, it is completely out of touch with reality and takes between 4-5 weeks only to be given a generic "you didn't get the job" email which they try and cleverly disguise as personal. Some of the hiring managers are nice and some have a really bad vibe, act uninterested and are somewhat condescending, taking no time to get to know a person and what they've achieved. For me, it was the bad vibe that put me off one of the interviews. It's clear they don't really care about your skills or experience and it definitely feels like if you don't have many sites hosted on Webflow then that's a massive no no. Relating to the previous paragraph there was a few questions but really passing comments asking if you know Webflow and what sites you have on Webflow?? Well part of the application process is making a site and if the hiring managers actually took the time to read cv's then they would figure that out. There was also a few questions regarding the web which didn't really hold relevance and as someone who works with React and Typescript daily I just felt at that point the interview was a mess and completely stressful when it didn't need to be, especially given how easy it is to use Webflow with a software background. In summary, Webflow is let down badly by a few hiring managers and a lack of project management. Please rethink your hiring process and invest in the correct kind of people to hire others.

The process is quite straightforward - recruiter interview, technical interview, paid trial day. No tricky questions, overall a very pleasant experience. I didn't get an offer due to legal matters for a remote role, keep in mind that they can't hire you 100% remotely from any country.

Entretien
The overall process took 43 days from the initial application. Day 1 application accompanied by a Webflow site build explaining why you’re a good fit. Ultimately the site build is also an early indicator on your familiarity with Webflow and how you approach design/dev. Day 24 invited to interview with the hiring manager followed by a timed skills assessment. After this there was a peer interview with someone in the role asking mostly behavioral questions and approach to solving technical issues.
