J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Whatnot (Tempe, AZ) en juin 2025
Entretien
I applied for a position and was almost immediately rejected, so I followed up with a recruiter from Whatnot that I had contacted before applying. He then told me their hiring process changed and they actually did want to interview me - scheduled it for Friday at 10am. Friday at about 9:35 I get a message that they want to reschedule to Monday at the same time. Monday comes and I thought the interview went pretty well. The guy who interviewed me informed me that it's a 4 series interview process and indicated that I would get called back for a second round. That never happened and when I reached out for feedback, they ghosted me.

The interview process with Whatnot for the CX Agent role was smooth, structured, and easy to follow.
It started with an initial call with a recruiter. The conversation was straightforward and focused on my background, experience, and interest in the role.
The second step was an online assignment. It was well-designed and directly related to customer support scenarios.
After that, I had a virtual interview that focused on my knowledge and approach to customer experience. The discussion felt natural and allowed me to clearly demonstrate how I handle real support situations.
This was followed by a reference check.
Next, I had a final interview, which wrapped up the process and gave me a chance to learn more about my future team structure.
Shortly after, I received a phone call with the offer.
Overall, the entire process took just over two weeks. Communication was clear throughout, and each step felt purposeful and aligned with the role.

The interview process spanned about six different stages. The initial two were conducted with the agency representative who had recruited me through LinkedIn as well as a recruiter from Whatnot. The third stage involved a take-home assessment, which was straightforward and evaluated both my technical skills and strategic thinking. The fourth stage was an interview with a department manager to discuss my background. The fifth stage was an interview with another department head to delve into the company’s principles. Finally, they reviewed my references, and I was offered the job after that. This entire process took slightly less than two weeks. Throughout the interview process, I met and spoke to incredibly amazing individuals who were all very encouraging and helped me feel confident navigating the steps. Although the interview process was lengthy, it felt perfectly appropriate to ensure that I had a thorough understanding of the job and the company.

The interview process is thorough because Whatnot really cares about the people they are bringing in. It is multiple rounds, but it is not hard if you know what the company stands for and are familiar with what the app actually is.
