A recruiter reached out to me about the position. I had an interview with the person who would be the manager of this role and then 3 30 minute interviews with a panel, followed up by a 15 minute interview with the CEO. After the last interview I was ghosted for a week, which seemed strange since I had received very positive feedback from the interviewers. I reached out to the recruiter to see if there had been any updates. Then I got a generic response from the manager saying that they hired someone with more technical experience. Looking at the person who they hired, this is untrue, though he does appear to have significantly more experience being a Mormon missionary than I do. If you look at the company you will see that’s common among their employees. They claim to be committed to DE&I but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
