      J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Zaizi

      I was approached by a Zaizi recruiter, we had an inital conversation and I submitted my CV. Five weeks passed with no word from them, I assumed they had opted against offering me an interview however they returned and asked if I would like to interview. I said yes... another week passed. I chased and was given 2 days notice to interview with no brief on what to expect. I was interviewed by a lead DM and a Product Manager. I would have expected a DD to be involved and I didn't think it was particularly appropriate that a PM would be qualifed to assess the merits of a potential Head of, despite having Product in the title the two roles are completely different. I had preped on the basis I would be asked about how I would drive the community forward and win more work, instead I was asked basic PM level questions. Both interviewers were friendly but uninterested, whenever I provided an overview and asked what elements they'd like me to elaborate on further, there was no follow up questions. I asked when I'd get feedback and I was told the following Monday. I received a call from the recruiter who in fairness to her was a nice girl but her tone was almost gleeful as she told me I was not progressing further. It was jarring and weird. In short probably the most unprofessional company I've interacted with - a real shame.

At Zaizi, we strive for clear communication and a professional candidate journey, and regret that this wasn’t your experience. For context, the manager for this role had not yet started, so we involved a direct report in the process, alongside someone from our leadership team, at the same seniority level as the role you applied for. That said, we appreciate your feedback and we will take it on board.
