First round interview was a Skype interview with an external recruiter from Insight HR (based in Kilkenny) and two members of Zerogrey (based in Dublin). Given the nature of this particular business, management sometimes travel oversees so it seems to be pretty common place to do a Skype interview. This really isn't ideal for the interviewee as it doesn't allow for the dialogue to flow naturally. People are either talking over one another, or there are long periods of silence in anticipation someone is going to say something. All interview questions were pretty standard. Second round interview was in-person with the two members of Zerogrey who had been on the Skype call. They provided a lot more information about the role and what they were looking for. It was a relaxed environment. Again interview questions weren't anything out of the norm.
