Unfortunately I've had a negative experience. While the people involved were lovely and fun to meet, the progress took longer than I would deem justified (4 weeks) and lacked transparency. I cannot fathom how disappointed I feel after hearing that alleged biggest reason that I do not qualify is because I have too much experience/ambition for a junior role. This is shocking to me because I only have one year of experience in this role as an intern + am fresh out of university. Unfortunate, I was very excited for this role for several reasons. It's just how life goes sometimes, but I would have preferred to receive a rejection email earlier. Feedback: Be more transparent and avoid long waiting times as they can signal false hope for the candidate. The job listing itself should have also been clearer as to what the role entails. Especially when it comes to a niche role.
