1) Hackerrank Evaluation with JS trivia
2) Background questions + live React & Redux coding challenge through video
3) Onsite interview with HTML/CSS challenge, site architecture evaluation, ES6 questions
Never had such a derogatory experience with a company before. And when a team of 5 developers suddenly goes down to 2 in a short period of time, that is a sure sign of a hostile working environment.
The initial evaluation was timed to be 18 questions in 8 minutes, it was designed to quickly filter people out. The second part barely spent any time on background, and the interviewer was extremely rude in the number of times he cussed and voiced his personal opinions about everything. His attitude was completely derogatory and left me feeling fed up, though I still worked on the challenge. In the third part, I had the pleasure of meeting said interviewer in person, who didn't hide his disdain for any questions that I couldn't answer. They said they would be in touch and never contacted me again. Not that it mattered, I would never have worked there anyway.
Do not work at a company where people don't care about culture fit or the product, where you will be treated like a robot who can pound things out , where unprofessional attitudes are evident from the interview process.
