      Initial chat went well, followed by a test assignment focusing on their actual living service improvement. Submitted a thorough product strategy document with metrics analysis, proposed solutions and implementation strategy. The feedback was rather peculiar - received vague comments about 'unclear solution', despite the document having dedicated sections covering exactly that. When politely enquired about this, the recruiter acknowledged potential oversights in review, yet maintained their decision. Most surprisingly, there was no follow-up discussion about the proposed solution. For a product role, one would expect interest in the candidate's reasoning and approach. The experience suggests a disconnect between recruitment and product teams. If interviewing here, be prepared for potentially surface-level evaluation of your work. Advice to management: Consider involving product specialists in reviewing relevant assignments. Current process might be missing qualified candidates due to evaluation practices.

      Entretien

      The overall interview experience was negative. First, I had an initial call with HR, which went smoothly. I was referred by a colleague to two different positions. After that, I had interviews with two hiring managers. Both interviews felt chaotic and unstructured. The interviewers mostly asked me to repeat my past experience, which was already clearly outlined in my resume. It seemed like my CV hadn’t been reviewed before the calls. There were no practical or case-based questions that could actually show my way of thinking, problem-solving skills, or how I approach product challenges. After the first interview, the HR stopped responding for over 2.5 weeks. I followed up three times before finally receiving a generic rejection note saying I “lacked experience,” despite the fact that I have 10+ years in senior product leadership roles — and none of that experience was truly assessed during the interviews. For the second interview track, it took HR two weeks just to schedule the call. After the interview, I never received any feedback, even though I reached out several times on Telegram (where HR was clearly active). Ultimately, I was simply ignored. The whole process looked highly unprofessional and disorganized. If the interviews reflect the company culture, it raises serious concerns about how processes are managed internally.
