RPC helps to grease the wheels of oil and gas production through a number of business units Through its Cudd Energy Services division, the company provides oil industry consulting and technical services including snubbing, coiled tubing, nitrogen services, and well control. Another unit, Patterson Rental and Fishing Tools, rents specialized tools and equipment such as drill pipe, tubing, and blowout preventers. RPC also provides maintenance, emergency services, and storage and inspection services for offshore and inland vessels. The company operates in most of the world's major oil producing regions. In 2010 Chesapeake Energy accounted for 15% of total revenues.
