"When I think back on my tenure here at Anaplan, I have lots of great memories that come to mind, but one thing that I will never forget is something that happened 4 years ago. I needed to be at home with my family for a long period of time, and my manager at the time said in very simple words, 'Family first; go be with your family and we will wait for you.' It felt amazing to have my manager see my personal needs and do whatever was needed to support me, just like I would do to support the company's needs." Shiran Maor is a Platform Services Architect responsible for defining the business and architectural vision for the entire Anaplan platform. When asked about the impact of his role, Shiran says, "When building a product/platform at this scale, with a big engineering group that spans different time zones, you can easily go in the wrong direction and create a "spaghetti" product. My role is to prevent that from happening and to make sure we create a platform that serves the business needs while keeping creativity and innovation going."
Our APAC teams just completed their third-annual STEPtember challenge👣👟! Over 125 Anaplan employees cycled🚴♀️, ran🏃♂️, hiked⛰, and swam🏊♀️ their way through the month logging in close to 32M steps. Big congratulations go out to the ANZ Team for leading the challenge with over 8M steps 🏆. As a prize, Anaplan will donate $1000 USD to ReachOut Aus, an organization that provides mental health services to young people and their parents. #InsideAnaplan #AnaplanLOVE
"My initial role at Anaplan was to help build up the Scandinavian business. These were the early days of Anaplan and we had to adapt to constant internal change, due to hyper-growth. Luckily, we had the right tools to help us analyze and plan so we could adapt quickly." Meet Frida Pilkington, Account Executive based in our Australia office 🇦🇺. As an Account Executive, she helps clients see the benefit of using the Anaplan platform to drive their business forward. She worked in our UK office for four years before leaving to relocate her family to Australia. When the Account Executive role opened up in the Anaplan Sydney office, she jumped at the chance to rejoin the team because, in her words, "I only have good memories from my 4 years of Anaplan in Europe. It was so good that I decided to join Anaplan Australia."
