Alishah Ahmed has been promoted to Senior Analyst at BVA Group. Alishah is a highly regarded valuation team member who plays an integral role across a variety of financial advisory and valuation projects. Alishah is extremely adaptable to new projects and responds effectively to unexpected changes. This month, our Plano and Houston teams had a great time volunteering and giving back to three local organizations in our communities. In Plano, we had the opportunity to pack up fresh produce at North Texas Food Bank to support local families having access to healthy foods. In Houston, we had the privilege to assist Emergency Aid Coalition in feeding the community by setting up and handing out food for their pop-up grocery event. We also came together to stuff backpacks with school supplies for underprivileged children and donated them to the YMCA of Greater Houston for this upcoming school year. Team BVA is so proud to serve and give back to our communities!

The legal teams from O'Melveny & Myers LLP and Carter Arnett PLLC called on BVA Group to provide expert analysis and testimony in the case of Dallas Police & Fire Pension System v. Townsend Holdings LLC. On the stand, BVA Group helped the jury navigate a complex $1.2 billion claim. Ultimately, the jury found in favor of Townsend Holdings and the verdict was upheld on appeal, concluding an eight-year legal dispute. Read more about the case here.
