GlobalFoundries and Synopsys Inc are bringing a full 'chip design to tapeout' experience to the classroom. Our University Partnership Program’s collaboration with Synopsys Academic & Research Alliances (SARA) will pilot an educational chip design program to 40 universities worldwide. Students, professors and researchers will all have direct access to real-world chip design and manufacturing facilities. This expanded access to these resources will create a significant opportunity for industry innovation and prepare the next generation of engineers with the first-hand experience and workforce development needed to succeed.
