Last weekend 12 of our talented employees completed the Obernai Triathlon. It was a fantastic event to be part of, and even better to be the main sponsor. Our current sales office is based in Obernai, France and this will be the location of our new factory, opening in 2025. Well done to everyone who took part, and congratulations on this achievement 🏆
We are expanding! In just over a year’s time, we will be expanding our manufacturing into a new location. We opened Loadhog Sarl in Obernai, France in 2019 with a local office and warehouse but we will now be expanding this further to include a manufacturing facility. This expansion will help support the local community by offering various new jobs and also better service our European customers, lowering transportation carbon emissions. The Loadhog Foundation has been working hard to give back this year and along with a number of projects, we have just made one of our biggest donations. We have partnered with SeaTrees to plant an entire Coral Reef in Bali, Indonesia. Planting of the Reef will help rapidly restores biodiversity, create critical habitats for 500+ species (many of which are currently considered vulnerable to extinction), and provide sustainable training, education and employment to local people in Bali. In 2022, we got involved in the Bears of Sheffield auction hosted by The Children’s Hospital Charity and we managed to get our hands on the beautiful Barker! He has been sitting in our reception for the past year, greeting our visitors when they arrive, but we thought it was time we gave him a more permanent home. Today, the team at Loadhog have been working hard to make Barker’s new home perfect for him. He now stands tall and proud at the front of our building. We are proud we have been able to donate to such a great cause and will continue to support our community throughout 2024.
