Along the way she even studied AI at MIT. Ioana started as a junior copywriter at JWT Romania and rapidly progressed. Within six years she was group creative director at McCann Romania. MRM’s global chief creative officer Ronald Ng described her career trajectory from that point on well when the network announced her appointment: “Ioana led MRM Romania to greatness, then went on to smash it in the US market and after being ranked top 10 most awarded creatives in the US this year, it’s time to come home to MRM.
National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is observed annually in the month of October. It celebrates the contributions of America’s workers with disabilities past and present and showcases supportive, inclusive employment policies and practices. This year’s theme for NDEAM is “Disability: Part of the Equity Equation,” to recognize the role people with disabilities play in a diverse and inclusive workforce. MRM has welcomed Diana Ceausu Caverly as global chief strategy officer. She joins from within the McCann WorldGroup network, where she was most recently EVP, Global Head of Strategy & Innovation for IPG’s General Motors account. She will report directly to MRM global chairwoman and CEO Kate MacNevin and work closely with the agency’s senior leadership team to strengthen its strategic vision and output. As a true global citizen, Caverly has worked on brands across nearly all seven continents to help drive transformation at scale and innovate at the intersections of culture and commerce. This new role continues her experience within McCann Worldgroup, which began when she originally joined McCann in her native Bucharest, before crossing the Atlantic to work at Commonwealth//McCann in Detroit.
