What does it take to make technology accessible? For Anagha Rajeev, the answer comes from experience. During COVID-19, she volunteered to teach children in rural India and saw how quickly people can be left behind when education moves online without access to devices or reliable internet. To her, responsible digitalisation means building technology that is accessible, purposeful, and designed around real people. Today, she brings that perspective into her work on IND, where Netcompany is building a new identification and registration system for the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service. Her story is part of our series exploring what responsible digitalisation means in practice, through the perspectives of our people. What does it take to build systems people can trust? For Birk Knut Astrup, it starts long before the first line of code is written. It’s about the choices you make early on – how you think about security, transparency, and the people who will rely on what you build. Birk shares his perspective on what it takes to create technology that doesn’t just work, but earns trust. And why responsibility isn’t something you add later, but something that shapes every decision along the way. This story is part of a series where we explore what responsible digitalisation means in practice – through the perspectives of our people.
