AI has the potential to greatly improve how we assess treatment response in oncology, but that potential can only be realized through collaborative efforts to rigorously validate new methods and proposed standards. We are proud to participate in the ai.RECIST working group led by Friends of Cancer Research, which promotes AI-based tumor assessments that are validated, interpretable, and ready for regulatory decision-making. As a contributing member, our tool that automatically detects, measures, and tracks lesions across timepoints will be evaluated in the planned study. 📄 This white paper outlines: ✔️ Limitations of current imaging-based endpoints and opportunities to advance beyond #RECIST ✔️ Emerging AI-driven approaches, including enhanced RECIST, radiomics, volumetric analysis, and growth kinetics ✔️ Key elements of a framework to validate novel AI-based imaging endpoints, including outstanding questions around endpoint definition and considerations for meta-analysis https://bit.ly/3MaUTy8 #AIinHealthcare #MedicalImaging #ClinicalTrials #CancerResearch #LifeSciences
This scoping review published in Cureus Journal of Medical Science analyzes the role of artificial intelligence in reducing error rates in radiology, highlighting how AI can help clinicians. As the volume and complexity of images increase, evidence-based analyses such as this one are essential to understanding where AI already adds value and how it can be responsibly expanded in real-world practice. We were delighted to take part once again in the annual winter meeting of the Société d'Imagerie Génito-Urinaire (SIGU) in the French Alps. This third edition featured a dedicated day focused on prostate imaging, bringing together experts to share experiences and discuss best practices in genitourinary imaging. Thank you to everyone who participated in our session “QP-Prostate® – Optimiser la detection et le suivi du cancer grâce à l'IA”, led by our Business Development Manager in France, Paul Idelson, which sparked valuable insights around the latest advances in AI for prostate imaging. A big thank you to la SIGU, all the speakers, and everyone who joined us and contributed to such engaging and productive exchanges. We’re proud to be part of a community pushing innovation forward in medical imaging. #SIGU #Radiologie #ImagerieMédicale #JournéesDHiver #Radiology #MedicalImaging #ProstateImaging #AIinHealthcare Philippe PUECH, Laurence Rocher, Soizic Baratin Abihanna, Patricia Gutierrez, Raphaële Renard Penna, serge brunelle, carole delerue, Michel Dupuis, Thibaut JACQUES, Jerome Prat, BELLIN Marie-France, Claire Palacin
Prostate cancer imaging is entering a new, decisive phase, in which progress is no longer based solely on innovation, but also on consistency, confidence, and clinical impact. In our blog with Dr. Rajan Gupta (Duke University School of Medicine), he explores how imaging biomarkers, radiomics, and AI are transforming prostate MRI by revealing patterns and signs of risk that go far beyond what the human eye can perceive. Innovation is opening the door to more accurate risk stratification and truly personalized imaging, helping standardize prostate MRI across readers and centers. 👉 Read the full conversation: https://bit.ly/49Ots59 #ProstateCancer #MedicalImaging #Radiology #Innovation
We are in Geneva, Switzerland, attending the 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐎𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐑𝐈 & 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 2026, endorsed by ESMRMB and ESUR. Thanks to Kai Vilanova MD, PhD for leading our industry symposium and showcasing QP-Prostate through real-world clinical cases. As a recognized expert in #ProstateCancer diagnosis, he demonstrated how AI is already enabling more accurate and confident detection in clinical practice during the session “𝘘𝘗-𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦®: 𝘖𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳 𝘋𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘈𝘐 – 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴.” We would also like to extend our thanks to the other speakers, distinguished leaders and experts in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate diseases, for their valuable contributions: Dr. Martina Martins, Dr. Francesco Giganti & Dr. stefano regusci. #Radiology #Urology #MedicalImaging
After a median follow-up of 23 years, men who underwent repeated PSA testing showed a 13% lower risk of death from prostate cancer compared to those who were not screened. These landmark results, published in the NEJM Group, provide the strongest long-term evidence to date that PSA testing of the general population produces a sustained reduction in prostate cancer mortality, underscoring the power of early detection to save lives. As healthcare moves toward precision and personalization, robust long-term clinical evidence such as this is essential for designing smarter screening strategies and more effective care pathways that truly improve patient outcomes. https://lnkd.in/dKWucRbb #ProstateCancer #Radiology #Urology #MedicalImaging
