Roehl Transport was recently honored by the Wellness Council of Wisconsin (WCWI) for our efforts toward and our commitment to fostering a mentally healthy work environment.
Roehl Transport was recently honored as a 2025 Vets Ready Employer by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD). Roehl was awarded a gold certificate in the Large Employer category. The designation recognizes Wisconsin employers who employ and retain veterans through their hiring initiatives, employee support services and community involvement. Twenty-five Wisconsin employers were recognized across three categories this year. This is the first time Roehl has received this award. To be honored, companies are rated based on criteria including support for veterans in the workplace, such as available resources, training and work environment; hiring practices to prioritize veteran hires; and efforts to connect to the wider veteran community, including military families, service members and veterans. “Our founder, Everett Roehl, served in the US Army and Roehl Transport is built on values. Our programs for military members and veterans support our values of Doing the Right Thing, Innovation, Unity in Diversity and Delivering Success,” shared Tim Norlin, Roehl’s VP of Driver Employment. Roehl Transport once again supported Wreaths Across America and their mission to Remember, Honor and Teach by hauling loads of wreaths to cemeteries in Wisconsin and Georgia, and for the first time, to Arlington National Cemetery. Members of TeamRoehl also volunteered to place wreaths on the graves of veterans, including at Arlington National Cemetery, where CEO Rick Roehl, Tamie Roehl (Director of Pay & Benefits Services), Tim Norlin (VP of Driver Employment), Amanda Worthen (Director of Driver Employment), David Eder (Military & Field Recruiter) Tim Rader (Certified Driver Trainer) and Charles Jones (Driver & 2025 Transition Trucking: Driving to Excellence Award Winner) joined thousands of others to place over 260,000 wreaths. Thank you to all of our teammates who volunteered, donated and supported Wreaths Across America and their worthy cause.
Charles Jones Wins Transition Trucking Award! Charles Jones, Jr., a military veteran & Roehl Transport truck driver, has won the prestigious Transition Trucking: Driving to Excellence Award, presented by the U.S Chamber of Commerce Foundation's Hiring Our Heroes Program (HOH), Kenworth, and FASTPORT at a ceremony held in Washington D.C. on Friday, December 12, 2025.

For the seventh consecutive year, Roehl Transport has been named a Top Company For Women to Work For In Transportation. This designation, through the Women in Trucking Association (WIT), reinforces that Roehl is a great place to work! And, for the second year in a row, Roehl was also honored with the “Elite 30” designation! The Women in Trucking Association created the Top Companies for Women to Work in Transportation recognition program because many women say they want employers with a corporate culture supportive of gender diversity, flexible hours and work requirements to accommodate family and life balance, competitive compensation and benefits, training and continued professional development, and career advancement opportunities. This year more than 21,000 votes were cast to identify the top companies named to the list.
