Senior Planning Engineer – Construction

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer with extensive experience in the UAE construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and ensuring projects are completed within the approved timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed project schedules using planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project timelines.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly.
• Identify delays, risks, and critical path activities and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure alignment with project plans.
• Perform delay analysis and prepare extension of time (EOT) claims if required.
• Track project milestones, resource allocation, and productivity levels.
• Support project teams in planning strategies to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure planning activities comply with project specifications and contract requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of planning experience in UAE construction projects.
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Experience in high-rise, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
• Knowledge of project control, delay analysis, and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
