The only benefit is the salary.
Inconvénients
The current management practices are causing some concern among the employees. The new contracts have a five-year fixed term with no career perspectives. They see people as disposable things. There are also reports of 24-hour work expectations, which may require some attention. Some very high level managers lack experience. The incentive program appears to be focused on reducing staff and using consultants, which may put undue pressure on those who remain. It's important to ensure that the organization's values align with the UN mission and are not merely being used for promotional purposes, which is the case of WIPO.
