Outsourcing and off-shoring has been excessive over the last few years but the true success of these actions is definitely limited. There is no accountability or tracking as to the success of these major decisions. Reward is given for implementation only and not long term success of the decision. Some of the claimed financial benefits which drive these decisions are questionable and dubious. The cost of poor quality and re-work plus communication difficulties are unfortunately difficult to measure and as such are excluded !
