Thank you for your honest feedback from your online teaching experience. It’s great to hear you’ve found the flexibility and light administration to be positives in your work. We understand that cross-country communication and language differences can sometimes make things less smooth, and we’re sorry if that’s been frustrating. We also appreciate your note about pay - feedback like yours helps us reflect on how we can better support and recognize our teachers across all regions.

Avantages

Opportunities to travel as part of the job, with expenses covered and no PTO required unless you choose to extend your trip. The people are friendly and approachable at all levels, and there’s strong representation of women in leadership—up to a certain point. The company also hosts fun summits and social events.

Inconvénients

The salary is far too low to live in Boston. The trips are also overpriced relative to the value customers receive. The company emphasizes perks and benefits as a “total package,” but it often feels like a way to distract from below-market pay. There’s little focus on retaining strong talent, turnover seems accepted, with a preference for replacing experienced employees with recent graduates willing to accept lower salaries.

This is such a thoughtful review. Thank you for taking the time to share it. Concerns around salaries and career growth are important topics, and we recognize the impact these areas can have on your experience working here. Retaining strong talent is definitely a focus for us, so we’re sorry to hear that has not been your experience. As compensation packages are reviewed annually, we’ve shared your comments as part of those discussions. If you have not already done so, we would also encourage you to speak with your manager or local RED team as they can best support you.
