      Avantages

      Great work life balance. Very relaxed culture.

      Inconvénients

      The engineering at most of the company is not that great. Not a lot of direction for more junior developers who are often given projects that are out of their experience. It also doesn't help that you self promote which generates a lot of unnecessary or hastily built applications to fulfill the requirements for promotions. This leads to a lot of terribly written software that is later abandoned by it's creator when they move to a new team.

      Avantages

      It has started moving much faster than in prior years and there's a lot of emphasis on moving fast through AI. The culture is still pretty fun and it feels like you're working for a fun product

      Inconvénients

      Spotify, as an app, is trying to find out what the next ten years look like for them. Right now leadership is experimenting with different directions and features so expect ambiguity and changing of scope and orgs
