Assessment Centre This was a group assessment where you had to complete a group exercise under supervision and a short presentation individually. The presentation topic will be given to you on the day, so be prepared with lots of notes on Aldi when you arrive as you will be given a short amount of time to prepare notes for your presentation before having to speak. 5. Final interview This was a very short (around 20-25 minutes) one-on-one interview. The interviewer asks about your background, family and upbringing as well as your motivations in applying for Aldi. They asked personal questions such as what your parents do for a living, although I'm not sure why this should affect your suitability for the role. The process was positive until the final interview where I felt uncomfortable with how personal the interview questions were. Being asked such specific questions about your family background and upbringing can be very upsetting when you haven't exactly had the easiest past. I felt that my interviewer was rather insensitive when questioning me on my past by probing me for more detailed answers, and I felt very uncomfortable throughout.
