Filled out the application in advance. Went to the "hiring session" and since I had their paperwork completed and also had my resume ready they took it from me and without reading, right away I was asked if I would only accept that position or if I was open to other job opportunities. The woman explained that resumes would be reviewed and I would be contacted within 2 weeks. I never was contacted. I am fairly over qualified for the position but have been a stay at home mom for several years and was really excited to jump back in and give a new position my all. I was very detailed about how my skills and experiences matched the KSAs they were seeking, one by one and was very detailed about how excited I was to work my way up and earn my stripes for the right company. Not sure what they are looking for exactly. Everyone from the company that was in the room looked fresh out of college.

3 part interview process consisting of online testing, hone interview with Recruiter and an in person interview with the District Manager. The phone interview was structured scenario based questions, while the in person interviews was more of a “get to know you” session as the district manager put it.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Recruiter interview followed by an in person interview.
The DM questions were fluff questions and quite frankly a waste of my time. They consisted of generic questions like Why Aldi? Tell me about yourself? Why did you leave your last employer? What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? All read off a laptop. These questions were ones that would be asked of an associate level candidate and not of a Store Manager candidate who had District Manager experience behind them. The DM did not take notes and was impersonal.
I felt there was a bias against me as I had more experience than her and was older than her. Comments regarding pace and work efficiency was added in while stating that store managers work on the floor and not on the office. Implying that would be my work ethic. There was no digging into any type of store manager scenario questions.
When I explained to her that I applied for 2 roles with the company in 2 different districts, and the recruiter from the phone interview did not call me for the other position after sending me an interview invite, she apologized and said that wasn’t in her zone. No attempt to problem solve or correct the issue.
I did not feel excited, or even inspired to work for her based on her interaction and interview process.

I was contacted for an interview and I was super excited and looking forward to it, I even canceled my doctor's appointment. I received texts and emails all the way up to an hour before the interview and nobody ever called! Super disappointed
Scheduled a phone interview for 315 today. Recieved multiple texts and emails reminding me about it, even took off work early for it. Never recieved a call. There is no way to contact anyone about it because the whole process is done via AI. Very disappointing.
