J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez ASDA (Tiptree, England) en juin 2017
Entretien
I applied online on Asda recruitment website and it took me through a few situational online question to see if i was potential employee for asda. after that, i got an email saying that they want to invite me to interview called 'Asda Magic' which is very different from 1:1 interview! On that day, i went to the store, signed in and got my name badge, there was me and 5 others - we were led to the room by HR Admin. She wanted us to talk to the person next to us and find out more about each other. There was then a group work, we did a activities where we would be on stranded island and what items we can take with us. We were taken onto shop floor and assigned us to aisle number and did some restocking and replenishing. i was taken into interview room and i was with store manager, it felt so relaxed! - i felt like that we become friends! he said that asda will text me on Monday to see if i was offered a job or not. On Monday i received a text from them saying that i have been offered! i will be starting in few days

J'ai passé un entretien chez ASDA (Leeds, England)
Entretien
Relaxed and fun, not too serious and some team building activities to take part in. Group work and then individual questions afterwards included. Not too stressful but covered everything I would expect in an interview for a company of the sized
It was a short individual interview with a single member of staff, very similar to other interviews of the same industry, very straight forward with simple open ended questions. The whole process took under half an hour.

Question 1
Basic interview questions about past experience in retail and customer service, team working etc
We were sat in a room of around 15 people. Around 4 employees watching us from the sides, and one employee leading the interview. They had us first introduce ourselves to the group, and then had us get together in small teams and do little exercises, just silly stuff, such as making a house out of spaghetti and marshmallows. Silly tasks, but what they're watching is how you interact with people. They then showed us a bunch of videos of higher ups talking about ASDA and what they stand for. It was an easy going, welcoming experience. Everyone who was normal got hired.
