At 10:00 a.m., I scheduled an interview with Tiffany R. for the senior SIU consultant position. However, my interviewer failed to attend the interview. After conducting further research, I discovered Ms. Tiffany’s email address. I sent an email inquiring about the possibility of a scheduling error, requesting clarification on whether I had received the incorrect time, and inquiring if I had been informed by Ms. Tiffany that the scheduling assistance had overbooked my appointment. I was promised a response within the next day or the following week.
Subsequently, I received an email informing me that I had not been selected for the position, despite never having been interviewed. Upon reaching out again, Ms. Tiffany informed me that the position had been closed. She shared an update last week, which I presume you received. However, when you informed me that I would be scheduled for another interview, you wasted my time and damaged the reputation of State and the General.
I hope that in the future, All State and the General will implement more effective recruitment strategies. Nevertheless, I wasted my time and missed out on potential opportunities with other employers.
