Interview was what you would expect for a sales position. I was asked why I wanted to leave my current area of work for insurance sales. My current area of work is Asst Manager in a retail environment, underpaid and overworked.. need I say more? I interviewed with the agency owner and his business operations manager. They were very friendly and welcoming. We went over my experience in sales and kind of role played a little bit to see what I was capable of. I thought it was really cool that they asked me to sell them a service I was already comfortable with selling in my current position. They could have asked me to sell an insurance policy to them and I surely would have flopped. It was an overall really good experience. I walked into the interview not even sure if I had a shot, and left the interview feeling like I had just made friends with the guys!

Would you say you're a good salesperson with a personality that will be able to make the call, initiate the conversation, close the deal or follow up if necessary?
How would you overcome the inevitable obstacle of a potential client saying, "I'm not sure I need/want this coverage?" Could you turn that around and close?

Interview process was smooth, and they outlined what they needed from a successful rep.
Sales manager was very open to questions and answered everything that came up. I would also like to add that he made the interaction very comfortable for me, as interviewing is not my strong suit.

Phone interview one on one directly with the interviewer. Would not recommend interviewer clearly violated religious rights and clearly didn’t like religion and made noise about it and didn’t consider. Run from this employer

I had an interview a week ago. The lady told me that they were going to let me know if I was selected or not for the position. But she never did, I believe they should let people know whether or not get the job. I personally like to hear feedback from the employer.
