J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon Web Services

Initial phone screen with recruiter, followed by a screening call with one of the managers. Standard interview process, they are looking for high level of AWS understanding so be sure to do your research beforehand and be prepared to give clear, specific examples of how your contributions/accomplishments along with measurable metrics that were achieved as a result. The more numbers the better.
It’s clear that they want to hire the best and brightest given the cloud space but my interview felt much more technical than expected, given that this is a customer-focused role. I got the sense that I was being grilled about my lack of technical knowledge on AWS rather than my actual experience and what I’d bring to a customer-centered role. Be sure to really do your homework.

Recruiter screen. Recruiter prep call. Peer interview call. Then a 5-hour 5-interviewer Loop. I prepared no less than 20 stories from my background aligned to 20+ potential questions they were likely to ask, and I utilized a good 75% of that content which was helpful. Check out YouTube videos on how Amazon hires. Ultimately, recruiter called me back to let me know I would not be receiving an offer. Zero feedback. When I asked the recruiter I was told they do not give feedback as policy.

The process took around 4 weeks from application to offer. It began with an online assessment focused on logical reasoning and marketing case analysis, followed by two virtual interviews and one final panel with senior managers.
The first round was with HR — mainly behavioral and background questions:
“Tell me about yourself.”
“Describe a campaign you managed and what metrics you used.”
The second round was a functional interview with two marketing managers. They went deep into analytical thinking and creativity — one question was:
They wanted structured thinking, consumer insight, and local market awareness.
The final round was panel-style (3 interviewers). It felt conversational but intense — they probed on cross-functional collaboration, brand guardianship, and how to handle disagreements with senior stakeholders.
Overall impression:
Interviewers were professional, sharp, and respectful. Every question felt intentional, and they genuinely wanted to see how I think rather than test memorized answers. The pace was fast but not stressful.
